The main idea of the blogger is to show that being good and being nice are not the same thing, and that one of them doesn't describe social justice at all. In her blog, Rachael shows and explains how social justice can be achieved through spreading equality between the members of the community, rather than being oppressive while trying to be "nice". However, she does state that being nice to each other in a cooperative way instead of abusing it in a way of trying to make certain acts socially acceptable. In some places of society, the tool of being "nice" is used by the oppressor so that he gets treated nicely by the oppressed, and if the oppressed don't do that, then they themselves would be seen as "the bad guys" by the oppressors and society. Finally she mentions that we should break out from this false mindset and understand that keeping one's rights are far more important than merely hurting someone's feelings, which is the true meaning of social justice and the one that we must do a "revolution of mindset" in order to truely appreciate and value in our society.
