This essay talks about the conflation of nice and good is a tool that controls the relationship between the strong and the weak, and promotes secret domination over marginalized people. Therefore, these days, racist, sexist and many other oppressive insults are hidden under the veil of niceness; so being nice is way more different than being good.
To begin with, social justice is the primary function that helps to strengthen the equality, reduce marginalization and give people the same rights and advantages. Therefore, the author said that niceness, far away from being a proof of social justice, is usually a disgusting trick that our enemy use to harm us, and hurt our feelings.
In addition, privilege offers some economic and social benefits for individuals and groups, while being marginalized is the inability to have the same rights and opportunities like others.
From here, cultural narratives are very important tools that promote knowledge and application of rights, and at the same time, create stereotypes unique to each society.
After all, "nice" is defined by each social class according to its own benefits and according to some standards generally imposed by the oppressor, as the "tone" argument that gives the oppressor the opportunity to be treated "nicely" according to his own definition of "nice" treatment. Also, oppression is not always about hurting someone's feelings, it's about different rights and opportunities by the law that can be offered to a group of people, and not to others, so not every mean person is an oppressor.
Finally, it's very essential to get over the confusion of nice and good, in order to protect people (like women, POC...), and lead a social revolution (not a nice one), to take back the opportunities and the rights hidden by law.
Check moodle for grade. You can simplify the wording of your main idea to be more accurate. Also, don't use terms she uses..."conflation". The body of your summary is good but could again be more precise.
