        “A ban on cloning, they warn, would mean the loss of "a woman's right to choose"; America can thus guarantee the full abortion license only by allowing cloning to proceed unhindered”( Lawmakers Should Ban All Human Cloning — Now ).How is abortion related to cloning ? They are not even inversely proportional ! According to Merriam Webster dictionary abortion is” a medical procedure used to end a pregnancy and cause the death of the fetus” whereas a clone is “a person or thing that appears to be an exact copy of another person or thing”. So how come cloning is related to abortion ? Why is it that only if cloning is legalized then abortion is an option ? Why would abortion be an option in the first place ? If you don’t want a child then have safe sex or take pills or whatever not get pregnant and abort ! When scientists clone, they’re supposedly “creating a life” as they presume. Whereas abortion is the termination of a life. So how is it that you link this to that ? Or is it just because they’re both not accepted so you made a package out of them ? I seriously cannot understand how is that even okay. “Take, for example, the claim that to prohibit cloning would be to prevent a grief-stricken mother and father from replacing their dead daughter with a new, genetically identical daughter who will somehow erase the loss of their first daughter ”( Lawmakers Should Ban All Human Cloning — Now ). How is a cloned (artificial) daughter the same as a real daughter ? A daughter you gave birth to, breastfed, raised, shaped her into the lady she once was ? I can never imagine a doll ever replacing  Can you ever forget her first words ? The first time she took her first steps and stumbled and fell ? Do you really think a clone i.e. a body can give you the rush of oxytocin your own flesh and blood gave you ? When you clone you’re cloning a body just a body ! This clone has no memories of her family, friends not even of herself!!!So how will she erase the loss if the personality wasn’t there ? How can she fill the emptiness ? Cloning is not God! It cannot recreate your daughter. A clone is like a doll that you teach what to say and how to act so here’s a note: she’s not really your dead daughter, she just looks like her on the outside.

        However, cloning can be listed as a profit to medicine. Cloning was used to replace malfunctioned organs, so why can’t it be used for example to cure cancer ? “And take, for a final example, the claim that a law against cloning human beings will make us forfeit potential advances in medicine ”( Lawmakers Should Ban All Human Cloning — Now ). We have to admit that this might be true. What if cloning is the answer to all prayers of the sick ones ? What if the ultimate medication is cloning ? Cloning is already used to replace damaged or malfunctioned organs that save a lot of lives everyday. So why not admit that it is beneficial ? When it comes to medical purposes I support the use of cloning if there’s no other option. Moreover, “But the truth is — and this is the vital political point — we can ban cloning without touching Roe v. Wade”. Logically speaking, you cannot legalize abortion and not cloning. They are linked one way or another whether we like it or not. Cloning at least in some cases is beneficial abortion never is. You’re ending a life come on! In some cases of cloning you are damaging an embryo true, but still you’re helping someone else by doing so. Besides cloning is the answer to many cries after abortion. Many after abortion regret aborting their child so they want it again and faster than usual so then cloning is the answer. I am not saying that cloning is okay for such cases, it is definitely not, but cloning does bring benefits to people most of the times but does abortion ?
